Head Nurse
Belinda began her veterinary nursing career in the mid-1990s and joined the Bass Hill Veterinary Hospital team in 1996, working alongside the hospital’s original owner and surgeon, Dr Ernie Young. Following the change of ownership in 2002, she remained with the practice and has continued to be a valued member of the team ever since.
Now Head Nurse and Floor Manager, Belinda oversees the day-to-day running of the hospital, she brings decades of experience across all aspects of veterinary nursing, with extensive knowledge in both medical and surgical patient care. She is recognised for her leadership, calm approach under pressure, and ability to solve complex problems while ensuring the hospital runs efficiently and maintains the highest standards of patient care.
Belinda is a fully qualified veterinary nurse and is passionate about continuing professional education, regularly undertaking further training to stay current with the latest advances in veterinary medicine and nursing. She is also a qualified dog trainer, a registered breeder with Dogs NSW, and has extensive experience in canine reproduction.
Outside of work, Belinda enjoys travelling, pilates, spending time at the beach, and making the most of every opportunity to be with her family and friends. She has three very spoiled fur babies - Pug Audrey, Exotic Short Hair cat Chubbs and Siamese cat Dobby :)

Lauren is a fully qualified veterinary nurse and has been working in the industry for over 10 years. She joined our team at Bass Hill back in 2017. Lauren has had a great love of all animals since she was a young child. This is very evident as she treats every patient with all the love and care in the world.
Lauren has a keen interest in all areas of Veterinary Nursing and loves new challenges. She is such a dedicated and capable senior nurse, and we love having her as part of our team. She is extremely well organised, has a very kind, calm nature which is perfect in our very busy hospital. The animals love her and so do we!
Lauren enjoys spending time with friends and family and their beautiful rescue fur babies Ronan the Kelpie cross, Isla the Corgi cross, her DSH cat Lola and Bunny Popcorn.

Soula joined our team as a veterinary nurse in May 2014. She has been vet nursing since 2000.
She comes with a vast amount of experience which she has gained over the years working in a Northern Beaches practice. Soula is a qualified veterinary nurse with a keen interest in our feline surgery and medical cases and customer service. Most of you would have probably met Soula as she is one of the friendly faces you meet at our reception.
Soula manages all our Rescue clients. She does an amazing job organising necessary paperwork for all the rescue cats in need of vaccinations and desexings. It’s a big job, we deal with many rescues who dedicate their lives to saving homeless animals.
Soula has grown up with animals her entire life. She is an animal lover and is passionate about animal welfare.
In her spare time Soula enjoys spending time with her husband, two beautiful children and their rescue cat Squirt.

Tara commenced her nursing career in 2016 when she joined our team and has since become a highly valued member of our practice. She is a passionate animal lover, demonstrating care and compassion for every patient she encounters.
A qualified Veterinary Nurse, Tara completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at Bankstown TAFE. She has a strong interest in all aspects of clinical veterinary nursing. As a senior veterinary nurse, she plays a key role in ensuring that every patient receives the attention and care they deserve.
Outside of work, Tara enjoys the beach, socialising with friends and family. Her own fur family include a British Shorthair cat named Bailey and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Layla.

Bronwyn joined our team in March 2020 after a very long career as a veterinary nurse with over 20 years in practice. She has a keen interest in surgery and loves caring for our patients whilst they recover with lots of TLC.
We are so happy to have her as part of our large nursing team. Her happy disposition is lovely and she has fitted in really well. She is such a dedicated nurse always volunteering to stay back to help the animals in need.
In her spare time Bronwyn loves to show her miniature pony show team with her husband. They also volunteer at the Zig Zag Railway in the Blue Mountains on a regular basis.

Keryn joined our team back in November 2014 after relocating from her hometown of Melbourne.
She is a qualified nurse having completed her Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing at Box hill Tafe. Keryn brings with her extensive surgical experience. Her favourite part of the job is helping out with caesarians and meeting all the newborn puppies.
Keryn currently works with us on a part time basis. You will often be greeted by her happy face on Sundays at BHV. She has 15 years of experience now in this industry and is such a valued member of our team.
Keryn enjoys going to the beach and spending time with family and Eric the parrot.

Chloe joined our team in December 2021 as a school-leaver having completed Animal Studies as part of the HSC program.
She completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing in June 2024 at Tafe (Bankstown). We are very impressed with her work ethic and maturity, and are so glad she chose us to mentor her through the early stages of her vet nursing career. She is a fantastic addition to the team, such a kind and gentle person exactly what our beautiful patients need during their stay with us. Chloe has a special interest in surgery, particularly caesareans/neonatal care and hospital patient care.
Chloe has two beautiful dogs - Summer, the Beagle Boxer Staffy mix and Murphy the Labradoodle. She also has a DSH Torti cat called Tammy.

Leticia joined our team during the Covid pandemic as we were so busy during that time. She has been such a brilliant addition to the team. She is a kind, caring person, and we absolutely love working with her!! She has amazing work ethic, calm under pressure and has taken to veterinary nursing extremely well. She is mature beyond her years and can handle the most stressful situation with ease.
